Windows 10 support ended on October 14, 2025. Windows 10 will continue to work just fine. However, unless the security routine you're using continues to be supported after Windows 10 support ends, your system and your data will be at risk. Also, updated device drivers for Windows 10-based systems will become increasingly hard or impossible to come by. For example, if you buy a new printer, Windows 10 drivers may not be available for it.

Your Windows 10 Update routine will provide an option for paying for additional security updates through October of 2026. Note that this is for security updates, not necessarily for drivers or application updates.
